CFPAU Issues “F Grade” & Consumer Alert for Wildflower Mountain Ranch Residential Treatment Center

Parent Warning

Salt Lake City, Utah May 14, 2025 (Issuewire.com)  – Consumer Financial Protection Advocacy Utah (CFPAU) has issued a stark “F Grade” Consumer Alert for Wildflower Mountain Ranch Residential Treatment Center for Girls, their website is at https://www.wildflowermountainranch.org/ located in Eden, Utah. This severe poor grade F comes after our careful analysis of the information about this organization. It is our opinion in issuing this alert review that this RTC deserves our F grade for their services. CFPAU is issuing this warning to strongly advise parents and guardians to exercise extreme caution when considering placing their children at this facility.

Our comprehensive review has identified numerous critical failures to adhere to fundamental requirements set forth by the State of Utah for residential treatment centers. These failures, detailed in our “Top Ten List” below, raise serious concerns about the safety, quality of care, and ethical operation of Wildflower Mountain Ranch.

Consumer Financial Protection Advocates Utah Assigns an “F Grade” to Wildflower Mountain Ranch Residential Treatment Center for Girls Due to their opinion and review of the following:

Top Ten Failures or Violations of Utah RTC Clinical Requirements

  • Failure – Individual counseling (R501-19-3(10))
  • Failure – Family counseling (R501-19-3(10))
  • Failure – Skills development (R501-19-3(11))
  • Failure – Treatment plan reviews (R501-19-3(10))
  • Failure – Documentation Requirements Progress notes (R501-2)
  • Failure – Service documentation (R501-19-3(12))
  • Failure – Treatment plan updates (R501-2)
  • Failure – Clinical supervision notes (R501-2)
  • Failure – Medication administration (R501-1-5(1).
  • Failure – Each Program Requirement and expectations R501-1-6(1)(D)

These significant violations, in our opinion, indicate a systemic failure to provide the necessary clinical support and oversight required for the well-being of vulnerable youth. CFPAU strongly urges parents and guardians to thoroughly investigate any residential treatment center before entrusting them with the care of their children. About This Site

We are a non-profit organization with the purpose of helping consumers that have been harmed by unethical or illegal actions by Utah companies, licensed professionals and others.

While we are a non-governmental agency, unincorporated nonprofit association, that began 2018. In September of 2020 Kathy Nicholson took over CFPAU.org, with Erica Crawford remaining as Managing Director.

In January of 2022 the CFPAU.org Directors made the wise decision as a nonprofit, that it was best to unincorporate by allowing the registration expire and for it to become an unincorporated nonprofit association.

Since CFPAU.org does not accept any donations and all work is done by volunteers we accept zero financial funding, nor do we provide any funding.

All funds negotiated for refunds or settlements go directly to victims. This is important because we must remain above any influence and remain objective and unbiased in our consumer research and reports. That is why we refuse any payment for our services.

There are no CFPAU financial accounts. We are a unincorporated nonprofit association operated by volunteers, we advocate for consumer victims with state and industry agencies and often meet with state leaders to create better legislation to protect consumers.

We also provide consumer review reports, and opinions about victim experiences  with professionals and companies and organizations that our in depth research has indicated is harmful to consumers. To learn more about our organization, please visit our policy page at https://cfpau.org/policy
